Nathan J. Citino is a historian of the U.S. and the World specializing in the Middle East and is an associate professor in the Department of History at Rice University. In 2017, he participated in the China Residency Program of the Organization of American Historians. His current research examines the U.S. empire in the Middle East and beyond.
