Politics, Law & Social Thought

Often working with the minor in Politics, Law, and Social Thought, this cluster focuses on primary sources addressing issues of political organization, law, and the nature of society, both to delve into the arguments that structured the past and to open up controversies in the present. Research work has ranged from theories of education in early modern Europe to conceptions of revolution, democracy, capitalism, and socialism in the twentieth century world.
